This Cancellation and Refunds Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms under which Kalyani Ornaments Private Limited (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) handles cancellations, returns, and refunds for transactions made on our website and mobile application (collectively the “Platform”).

By transacting on the Platform, you (“User”, “Customer”, “You”) agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy, which is an integral part of our Master Terms and Conditions.

1. GENERAL CANCELLATION RULE

Due to the highly volatile nature of precious metal prices (Gold, Silver, Platinum, etc.), the Company operates on a strict No-Cancellation policy for outright confirmed orders of digital gold and physical jewelry, except under specific circumstances outlined below. Once a payment is successfully processed and an order confirmation is generated, the order becomes legally binding.

2. DIGITAL GOLD & SILVER TRANSACTIONS

2.1. Outright Purchase & Sale:

  • No Cancellation: Once an order for the direct purchase or sale of Digital Gold/Silver is confirmed on the Platform, it cannot be cancelled, modified, or reversed by the User.

  • Payment Failures: If your bank account or card is debited but the order fails to generate on our Platform due to a technical glitch, the transaction will be automatically rolled back. The deducted amount will be refunded to your original source account within 7 to 10 business days.

  • Withdrawal to Bank: Sale proceeds from your Digital Gold balance will be credited to your verified bank account within 24 to 48 working hours. If the bank transfer fails, the equivalent digital gold balance will be reinstated to your Kalyani Ornaments wallet within 10 days.

3. THE "KALYANI 11+1 GOLD SAVINGS PLAN" (EMI PLAN)

We understand that financial emergencies can occur. Therefore, we provide a transparent mid-way cancellation policy for users enrolled in our 11+1 Savings Plan (where Users invest ₹2,000 monthly for 11 months).

3.1. Mid-Way Cancellation (Premature Exit): If a User wishes to discontinue or cancel the 11+1 Gold Savings Plan before successfully completing all 11 installments, they are permitted to do so directly through the Platform or by contacting customer support.

3.2. Refund Calculation & 3% GST Deduction:

  • Upon premature cancellation, the User is entitled to a refund of the total principal amount they have deposited thus far.

  • However, a mandatory 3% GST deduction will be applied to the total accumulated principal amount.

  • Example: If a User cancels after paying 5 installments of ₹2,000 (Total ₹10,000), the Company will deduct 3% GST (₹300) and refund the remaining amount (₹9,700) to the User's bank account.

3.3. Forfeiture of Maturity Benefit: Premature cancellation or defaulting on the plan before the 11th installment will result in the absolute forfeiture of the 12th-month maturity benefit (the ₹2,000 bonus). The User will only receive their deposited amount minus the 3% GST.

3.4. Refund Processing: The final calculated refund amount will be credited back to the User's original bank account or UPI ID within 7 to 10 business days of the cancellation request being approved.

4. PHYSICAL JEWELRY, COINS & GEMSTONES

For physical products delivered to your doorstep, we offer a transparent return mechanism strictly limited to the following conditions:

4.1. Eligible Grounds for Return/Refund: We will accept returns and initiate refunds/replacements ONLY if:

  1. The product delivered is completely different from what was ordered.

  2. The product has a genuine manufacturing defect.

  3. The product is physically damaged in transit prior to delivery.

4.2. Mandatory Unboxing Video: To claim a return or refund for damaged/incorrect products, you must record a clear, uncut unboxing video starting from the sealed tamper-evident package. Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video will be summarily rejected.

4.3. Return Process & Conditions:

  • Timeline: You must raise a return request within 48 hours of receiving the delivery by emailing support@kalyanii.com.

  • Intact Tags: The product must be unused, and the original security tags, BIS Hallmark certificates, and diamond/gemstone laboratory certificates must be completely intact and untampered.

  • Quality Check (QC): Once the returned item reaches our facility, our QC team will inspect it. If the claim is found to be genuine, we will process a replacement or a refund. If the item shows signs of wear, alteration, or tampering, it will be shipped back to you, and no refund will be issued.

4.4. Custom-Made & Engraved Jewelry: Any jewelry that has been customized, personalized, or engraved specifically at the User's request is strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

5. REFUND TIMELINES AND METHODS

When a refund is approved by the Company (due to technical payment failure, valid return, or EMI plan cancellation):

  • Mode of Refund: All refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (Bank Account, Credit/Debit Card, UPI) used during the transaction. We do not issue cash refunds.

  • Processing Time: Once initiated from our end, refunds typically take 7 to 10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing timelines.

  • Promotional Deductions: If you used any promo codes, cashback, or reward points during the purchase, the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly. The reward points will expire and will not be reinstated.

6. FORCE MAJEURE CANCELLATIONS BY THE COMPANY

The Company reserves the right to cancel any order at its sole discretion under the following circumstances:

  • Unavailability of stock or raw materials.

  • Errors in pricing or product information displayed on the Platform.

  • Suspected fraudulent transactions or failure of KYC verification.

  • Force Majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, logistical embargoes) making delivery impossible. In such cases where the Company cancels an order, a 100% refund will be initiated immediately to your source account.
